What about STD's, HIV?
The information we have reviewed indicates that the heterosexual population of the Lifestyle sector has a significantly lesser risk of the AIDS virus than the known higher risk populations. That does not mean that it’s a free for all. We recommend the highest levels of hygiene and healthy practices. Ask potential partners politely the hard questions. Be honest with others. Discuss it with yourselves, others, and stay alert to your health. Depending on your activity, get a blood test at least once a year. Be honest with your doctor. Let them know you have multiple sex partners. Usually no explanation is needed. As a couple, we do this. We each have a STD/HIV scan several times a year. Our practice is to have it done at different times. As a Lifestyle Couple, this allows us to get a report more often that is likely reflecting both of our conditions. The only way to be sure you're safe is never to have sex at all, and don't use IV drugs, etc. However, we know that's not reality! We know that the AIDS virus is transmitted through body fluids. If you agree to both use condoms, that will not eliminate the risk. Couples today may decide not to have intercourse with others, to be safe. Some couples say that you are more likely to win the lottery than catch something in the Lifestyle.
